Buffalo Nickels Quantities Minted
Buffalo Nickels were produced between the years 1913 and 1938. This remains one of the most popular United States coin designs due to its use of uniquely American subjects for the obverse and reverse. During the course of the series, the mintages ranged from a high of more than 100 million to a low of 970,000.
